Software design and development — web, mobile and desktop

Web sites and web applications, iOS and Android apps, macOS and Windows software. Designed and built end to end, for any sector — and proven on two products of our own.

Design and development under one roof

From the first wireframe to the released build and the maintenance that follows. One team handles interface design, engineering, deployment and support — no handover gap between the people who draw it and the people who build it.

01

Web design & development

Corporate sites, landing pages and content platforms — designed, built, optimised for search and performance, and handed over ready to run.

02

Web application design & development

Dashboards, portals, booking and back-office systems. Authentication, roles, payments and reporting built in from the start rather than bolted on.

03

iOS & Android app design & development

Native and cross-platform mobile apps, from interface design through store submission — push notifications, offline use and in-app purchases included.

04

macOS & Windows application development

Desktop software for work that does not belong in a browser — local file handling, hardware access, offline operation and signed, installable builds.

05

Custom software development

Bespoke systems built around how your business actually works: internal tools, integrations between the platforms you already use, automation of recurring manual work.

06

AI integration & data automation

Document analysis, extraction and decision support wired into your own workflow — the same pipeline that runs inside our products, fitted to your data.

We ship our own products — not only other people's briefs

Most agencies can show you client work. We can show you software we designed, built, deployed and now operate ourselves: one live platform taking subscriptions across Europe, and a second in development. Running our own products means we carry the parts agencies hand back — uptime, security, payments, support and the cost of every shortcut.

It also means we start by asking what the software has to achieve commercially, not which framework to use. That habit comes from twenty years of running engineering projects, where a wrong assumption is not a bug report — it is a cost overrun.

Two products of our own, in the market

Developed in-house for the European market. They are the reason we can say we build software rather than that we intend to — you can open one of them right now.

BidIndex

Live
A Core Engineering product

One of the most comprehensive tender platforms in Europe. BidIndex pulls notices straight from 30 national procurement portals, runs a live construction job feed alongside them, and adds the trade press — then filters all three streams to the country, sector and budget range a subscriber defines once.

  • 30 source integrations — TED and the national portals of 30 countries
  • European construction job feed, around 14,000 new postings a week
  • Market news, so cancellations and awards surface before the notice does
  • Web platform, mobile apps and a notification pipeline
  • Nine languages, with automated translation of every record
  • AI briefing and company-fit assessment per tender

A Core Engineering product

An AI workspace that reads technical documents and finds what is missing in them. Drawings and specifications go in; scope is extracted, gaps are flagged, compliance is checked, and a priced offer comes out the other side.

  • Document ingestion and AI extraction at scale
  • Multi-tenant SaaS with roles, sharing and approval flows
  • Background processing pipeline with spend controls
  • Pricing, cost and reporting engine on top of the analysis

Any sector — the craft does not change

Software problems look the same from the inside: a process that people are doing by hand, data sitting in the wrong place, a product that needs to reach a market. We work wherever that is true, and we learn the domain properly before writing anything — that discipline is where we come from.

Construction & industry

Tendering, estimation, site management and technical office work — our own background.

Professional services

Client portals, case and document management, billing and reporting systems.

Retail & e-commerce

Storefronts, stock and order systems, payment integration and customer apps.

Logistics & manufacturing

Tracking, scheduling and planning tools, plus integration with existing ERP systems.

Startups

From first prototype to a product that can take payments and survive real users.

Anyone with a manual process

If the work is repetitive, rule-based and eating hours, it is a candidate for software.

Three ways in

Build a product from scratch

Design, development, launch and the operational work after it. You get a product that runs, not a repository you now have to staff.

Fix one bottleneck

Fixed scope, fixed price, one clearly defined problem — the recurring task that eats the most hours for the least judgement.
